KSSF promotes people’s organisations intending to empower and connect Kerala’s Community Based Organizations (CBOs). The mission is to empower small and marginal farmers, women, tribal and fisherfolk in socio-political, cultural, and economic fields, regardless of caste, creed, or religion, through the formation of sustainable regional/state level federations for proper networking, advocacy, and lobbying. Trainings, meetings, and research studies are among the major activities to promote, strengthen, and sustain Community Based Organizations. Through 32 DSSS partners, KSSF promotes over 668,858 SHGs across 14 districts in Kerala.
